Resolution condemning in the strongest possible terms the attack on a Filipino sports hero and the entire Philippine delegation during the International Boxing Federation (IBF) light flyweight crown title fight held in Mar del Plata, Argentina; and urging His Excellency, President Benigno S. Aquino III, to direct the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to recall the Philippine Ambassador to Argentina, Rey A. Carandang; to direct the DFA to call the Ambassador of Argentina to the Philippines, Joaquin Daniel Otero, to explain the attack by an Argentine angry crowd; and to call on the President of the IBP to impose a ban on the promoter and the Argentine boxer of the said sporting event from all IBF- sanctioned boxing bouts, as an expression of the country's displeasure over the incident
