[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6427, April 27, 1972 ]

AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE ADDITIONAL SUM OF TEN MILLION PESOS TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF THE 1971 CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION FROM MARCH SIXTEEN TO JUNE THIRTY NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-TWO.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The additional sum of ten million pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to defray the expenses of the 1971 Constitutional Convention from March sixteen to June thirty nineteen hundred and seventy-two, for the purposes and in the amounts following:I           Personal Services

1. Per diems P2,893,800
2. Personal services 3,196,900
Total for per diems and personal services P6,090,700

II.          Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses

1. Travelling expenses P630,000
2. Supplies and materials 1,097,600
3. Communication and mailing services 403,900
4. Printing and binding report 262,500
5. Maintenance and repair  17,500
6. Rental  689,500
7. Miscellaneous sundry expenses  692,800
Total for maintenance and other operating expenses P3,293,800

III. Equipment                                                                              115,500

Total P10,000,000

SEC. 2. Any unexpended amount of the sums herein appropriated after June thirty nineteen hundred and seventy-two shall automatically revert to the general funds of the Government.SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.Approved: April 27, 1972.
