PROCLAMATION NO. 999

DECLARING TUESDAY, APRIL 25, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN AKLAN.

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Tuesday, April 25, 1972, as a special public holiday in Aklan to celebrate its creation as a separate province under Republic Act No. 1414 dated April 25, 1956.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 20th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-two.
