FULL TITLE : AN ACT AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6657 OR THE `COMPREHENSIVE AGRARIAN REFORM LAW OF 1988', PROVIDING THE MECHANISM FOR THEIR IMPLEMENTATION AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES | |
ABSTRACT : One of the anticipated results of the implementation of the Comprehensive Land Reform Program (CARP) is the generation of maximized productivity from ther land areas parceled out to the beneficiaries through better crop selection and rotation, the application of quality seeds, and the employment of modern farming methods. Apparently, after more than twn (10) years since the implementation of the CARP, the agricultural productivity improvement effect of the land reform program leaves much to bedesired. >This bill seeks to accelerate agricultural productivity and food production by allowing corporations to utilize lands belonging to Agricultural REform beneficiaries concerned and the Department of Agrarian REform as parties and signatoriesto the contract. | |

Abstract
