FULL TITLE : AN ACT RATIONALIZING THE OWNERSHIP AND OPERATION OF TELECOMMUNICATI ON STATIONS OPERATED BY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND INSTRUMENTALITI ES, INCLUDING LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS AND GOVERNMENT OWNED OR-CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED FIVE HUNDRED FORTY-SIX, SERIES OF 1979 |
ABSTRACT : Telecommunicati on stations within the Philippines, except those owned and operated by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, are required to abide by the rules and regulations of the National Telecommunicati on Commission (NTC). These rules and regulations make it dficult for government agencies and isntrumentaliti es, as well as local government units and government owned and controlled corporations operating telecommunicati on stations, to mobilize their resources and capabilities and maximizetheir potentials towards the attainment of sustainable growth and development in their areas of jurisdiction. >>Cognizant of the restraints imposed by these regulations, this bill proposes to free government agencies and instrumentaliti es from suchh regulations. |

Abstract
Telecommunicati on stations within the Philippines, except those owned and operated by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, are required to abide by the rules and regulations of the National Telecommunicati on Commission (NTC).
