SHORT TITLE : Authorizing Local Government Units to Apply the Share of the Proceeds Dervied from Hydrothermal, Geothermanl and other Sources of Energy
ABSTRACT : More than two (2) decades after the electrification program was launced to implement the total electrification of the entire country, several areas in the countryside still do not have any supply of electricity. The failure of the program to provide electricity to the whole countryside can be traced to lack of funds. This bill seeks to authorize local government unit to apply the share of the proceeds derived from the development and utilization of hydrothermal, geothermal and other sources of energy for the electrification of other areas within the province where the source of energy is located.
