| ABSTRACT : The bill proposes the following amendments to RA 8292, among others: a) the use of the term “chairperson” in lieu of “chairman”, b) the revision of the composition of the governing board of state universities and colleges (SUCs), and c) exemption of donations to SUCs from the donor’s tax and consider them as allowable deductions from the gross income in the computation of the donor’s income tax. | |
