SHORT TITLE : Transferring The Philippine Coast Guard To The Department Of Transportation And Communications As An Attached Agency And Redefining Its Organization And Personnel Administration
ABSTRACT : Establishes the Philippine Coast Guard as a distinct, armed and uniformed service attached to the Department of Transportation and Communications. It shall assist in the enforcement of maritime rules and regulations for the promotion of safety of life and property within the maritme jurisdiction of the Philippines.
