FULL TITLE : AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE 'NO-BIDDING' SALE OF GOVERNMENT-OWNED PROPERTIES TO ITS OCCUPANTS FOR SOCIALIZED HOUSING, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7279 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING ACT OF 1992, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SHORT TITLE : "No-Bidding" Sale of Government-Owned Properties To Its Occupants For Socialized Housing
ABSTRACT : The bill seeks to eliminate the public bidding requirement in the sale of government properties provided that the subject property is certified by the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council and by the National Housing Authority for use as a socialized housing area. Only informal occupants who have resided on the property for at least 10 years shall qualify as beneficiaries.
