ABSTRACT : "Anti-Marital Infidelity Act of 2004." This bill seeks to rectify the errors of the existing legal framework on "marital infidelity" by providing for its definition and providing penalty for the commission thereof. It also seeks to correct the seeming disparity in the treatment of husbands and wives thereby actualizing the constitutional mandate of equality of men and women before the law. |
