FULL TITLE : AN ACT ESTABLISHING REFORMS IN THE REGULATION OF RENTALS OF CERTAIN RESIDENTIAL UNITS, PROVIDING THE MECHANISMS THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SHORT TITLE : Establishing Reforms in the Regulation of Rentals of Certain Residential Units
ABSTRACT : "Rental Reform Act of 2001." Beginning January 1, 2001 and for a duration of four (4) years thereafter ending on December 31. 2005, the monthly rentals of all residential units not exceeding Seven Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P7,500.00) shall not beincreased by the lessor by more than the rates herein provided: PERIOD MAXIMUM RATE January 1, 2002 - December 31, 2002 Ten percent (10%) January 1, 2003 - December 31, 2003 Ten percent (10%) January 1, 2004 - December 31, 2004 Ten percent (10%) January 1, 2005 - December 31, 2005 Ten percent (10%)
