ABSTRACT : "Overseas Seafarers Act." The bill defines overseas seafarers as "the crew or complement of a ship navigating foreign seas. Provides for the conditions of employment, illegal recruitment, social security, disability benefits, disciplinary and dispute settlement procedures and post employment and repatriation.
