SHORT TITLE : Cellular Phone Subscriber Protection Act of 2004
ABSTRACT : "Cellular Phone Subscriber Protection Act of 2004." The bill authorizes the National Telecommunications Commission to implement measures for the protection of all pre-paid and plan subscribers of cellular mobile telephone services such as the extension of the expiry date of pre-paid cards from two months to one year from the date of initial use, the grant of credit for drop calls and the registration of pre-paid subscribers, among other.
